General Terms and Conditions
1. Validity and Scope of the GTC
The Service is provided on the basis of these General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter: GTC). The GTC apply to the entire service and to any future amendments thereof. The rules set out in the GTC are binding on the users of the Service (hereinafter: User or Users), who, by using the service, acknowledge these provisions as binding upon themselves. The Operator shall carry out any future extension or modification of the Service in accordance with the rules of the GTC. The Operator reserves the right to supplement or amend the General Terms and Conditions. Following each amendment, the Operator shall consolidate the rules of the GTC into a single text and shall continuously make it available to Users on the internet at idozar.hu. In any case where the User engages in conduct that breaches the GTC or the Contract, the Operator is entitled to terminate the contract and to exclude the User from use with immediate effect. Any resulting disadvantage shall be borne by the User, who shall be obliged to compensate in full any damage that the Operator or any third party may suffer as a result.

3. Method and Conditions of Using the Service
3.1 Ordering the service
Bookings can be made exclusively through the booking system, by email or by phone. The booking must include the Visitor’s name, contact details and the date and time of the booking. ILOCKEDYOU confirms every booking in writing (by email).
3.3 Language of the program: Hungarian, English
3.4 Everyone uses the Service at their own risk.
3.5 Games are started with a minimum of two and a maximum of 10 players.
3.6 Gift vouchers purchased in advance can be redeemed exclusively for programs operated by ILOCKEDYOU.
The voucher can be redeemed within the validity period indicated on the voucher. (Redemption means taking part in the program, not booking the time slot.) Vouchers must be presented to the organizers before entering the program.
3.7 Only persons in good health may be admitted to the venue of the program (persons with visible signs of an infectious disease will not be admitted).
3.8 Cameras are installed on the premises of ILOCKEDYOU so that visitors receive the highest possible level of service and so that our staff can intervene in the event of any accident or unforeseen event. Our cameras record video footage (which is stored for the legally required period and then deleted), which visitors accept by accepting the GTC.
3.9 In the event of any emergency (e.g. power outage, fire), visitors are obliged to follow the instructions of our staff.
3.10 Validity of discounts
ILOCKEDYOU’s own discounts and offers are published on the website (ilockedyou.hu). Discounts and vouchers must be presented to the organizers before entering the program. Discounts, promotions, vouchers and coupons cannot be combined under any circumstances.
3.11 Cancellation of a booking
The Visitor undertakes to notify the Operator by phone of any cancellation, modification or other change to the booked time slot no later than 48 hours before the start of the service; otherwise, the Operator shall be entitled to the fee for the service.
3.12 Deletion of a booking
If, for technical or other reasons, the Service Provider is unable to provide the booked time slot, it is entitled to delete the booking; in this case, however, at the User’s choice, it shall either provide a new time slot or, if the customer has paid in advance, refund the booking fee.
3.13. Booking process
The escape room can be used after prior booking.
1. Choose a day in the calendar from the available time slots that suit you!
2. Check your booking details!
3. Fill in the form with your personal details!
4. Read the General Terms and Conditions carefully and accept them!
5. Press the “Book now” button!
You will shortly receive a confirmation of your booking by email containing all the important information.
3.14 Arrival at and departure from the venue
The Visitor and their group must arrive at least ten minutes before the booked time slot. If visitors are more than 25 minutes late, we may not be able to admit them to the program. At the end of the program, the venue must be vacated.
3.15 Damage
4. In the event of damage caused to the service provider, the user of the service accepts that they may be required to pay compensation.
4.1 The fee for the service can be paid by bank transfer or in cash on site (in Hungarian forints). In the case of payment by bank transfer, the Visitor is obliged to ensure that the fee for the service is credited to the Operator’s bank account before arrival.
4.2 In the case of bookings paid by bank transfer, we will inform you by email once the transfer has been received. The invoice issued will be handed over in person before the booked time slot.
4.3 We are unable to refund vouchers or tickets purchased in advance.
4.4. Cancellation of bookings made less than 48 hours in advance
The Visitor undertakes to notify the Operator by phone or electronically of any cancellation, modification or other change to the booked time slot no later than 48 hours before the start of the service.
If the cancellation takes place within 48 hours before the start time of the service, or if the Visitor does not show up at the booked time slot, the Operator is entitled to charge the full fee for the service.
If the booking is made within 48 hours before the start time of the service, the booking shall be deemed final, and the full fee for the service shall be payable even in the event of cancellation.
6. Our Prices
All prices published by ILOCKEDYOU include VAT as required by law. Our prices are displayed on the website. We reserve the right to change prices.
Custom offers
Bookings for multiple groups cannot be placed online; this is possible only by phone or email. In such cases, we will provide a custom price offer.
7. Force Majeure
7.1. In the event of force majeure, we do not pay compensation – we will agree with the User on a mutually beneficial arrangement for their next visit to the program.
7.2. The User is not entitled to a refund if the program is terminated due to a breach of the House Rules. In this case, the Service Provider will not provide a new time slot either.
8. Terms of Use for Booking on the Website
8.1 General provisions: By accepting the General Terms and Conditions, the User acknowledges that they have read and understood the GTC and undertakes to comply with them.
8.2 The language of the User Content depends on the language selected. (Hungarian, English)
8.3 At the time of booking via the booking system, by phone or by email, the person making the booking may not be under 16 years of age; if they are, their legal representative shall be held liable in their place.
9.5 The person making the booking must provide their phone number, email address and the number of people in the group. If this information is not provided truthfully, the operator may refuse the group’s booking.
9.6 Accompanying persons are charged the same price as players.
9.7 For security reasons, any person present on the premises of the escape room consents to being video recorded.
